Pixels are hot. So is viral marketing.

These pixal ad sites are still creating a buzz around the internet marketing world. Many people have copied the original http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com with various degrees of success. The original site will make the owner, a 21 year old student from the UK, a millionaire it is certain now. His site is rapidly filling up.


what I am little surprised about is how it is hanging on. It doesn't appear that these sites ot the general idea will go away at anytime in the near future. Here is a reason I think this. Take a look at Brad Fallon's blog;

Brad is one of the top, if not the top, expert on SEO (search engine optimization) and he is a believer in these pixel ads. Why? Well, for one reason, they provide a link to a site and if that site gets traffic and has a good PR it will help your website get traffic and a higher PR. many people, including myself, have paid good money for the links. This is one way of selling links. I bought a good piece of Brad's pixel site and i am glad I did. He has a PR6 now and it may go higher with the pixels on it. It is a good investment I think.
