Search Engines Promotion Home Business Biz ops

PinGoat.com and SplogSpot.com almost here.

Well, finally it looks like after a few weeks of dealing with escrow.com and finding the right host setup PinGoat.com and Splogspot.com will be on my server by the end of this week. Yeh!!

For those who already use pingoat.com and splogspot.com the transition should go well with the previous owner Kailash helping in the transfer. Kailash hopefully will stay on and keep helping with Pingoat in the furure. Congratulations to Kailash for the sale of these two sites and I wish him the best in his academic studies in the UK. I don't plan on making any drastic changes to pingoat. Perhaps try to make it a little more user friendly as I have seen some comments from internet marketers about the service suggesting they had problems. these seem to be the minority though and the site is well liked by a great percentage of users.

I may also add some features to pingoat and try to make it a place where bloggers may want to go to to ping and to also find tools and info on blogs.
One thing I will want to do is connect the new
blogsrater.com site with pingoat. Blogsrater is a blog directory and rating/review site. The idea of it is to get people involved in seriously looking at others blogs and rating and reviewing them. We are planning to have contests and rewards for reviews and top bloggers. Blogsrater has already had over 200 blogs submitted in a couple of weeks and is in the top 100,000 on Alexa some days.

I am looking forward to the next year with PinGoat, Blogsrater and some other blogs related ideas. I may also get into the video blogs, also known as vlogs. :-)

Search Engines Promotion Home Business Biz ops

Blogsrater.com is off and running. nypizzapie.com also.

Ok, since my last post I have started blogsrater.com which is a blogs directory, rating and review site. I haven't seen another one out there like it and my friend Vladimir and I put this together from scratch. Well, I had the idea to start with and he made the site with both of us putting ideas on how it would work. The idea is simular to iarticles.biz of course in that they both have a way for people to submit a site and rate others. We actually changed iarticles to add some of the features of blogsrater on it.

Blogsrater.com has much more potential that iarticles.biz simply because many more people have blogs than have article directories. I am hoping that the people who submit the blogs will see traffic to their sites. Especially the ones who write reviews and get their blogs in a rotation for featured blog. It couldn't hurt anyways and the price is right. Free. :-)

So far almost 100 blogs have been submitted in about a week and blogsrater.com was in the top 100,000 on Alexa already. I have started a adwords campaign and also will put blogsrater banners and links on my new blog sites after I finish buying them.

My new blog site(s) I am buying will be getting around 100,000 unique visitors and over 5,000,000 hits a month. These sites are now in the process of being purchased and should help blogsrater get enough traffic to make it a big hit. That is why I think those who submit their blogs now and write reviews will see some decent traffic to there sites.

I just bought another new site also, NYPizzaPie.com, that is a new site a guy has put a lot of time into. Not sure if I will hang onto this site or sell it after it gets older and hopefully a good PR from Google. That is never a given but this site has 230 pages indexed already by Google and has a projected PR6. It is a PR0 now so anything close to a 6 would be great. I know these projected PR sites are BS but it is worth a gamble I think because this site is making a little money also.

Bythe way, rapidshare is a real popular downloads site and my site rapidsearch.org is getting pretty good traffic because people use it to search rapidshare.be. I also had Vladimir help me make for-my-pet.com a much better site. We added a rss feed page and an articles page to get some content on the site. Hopefully this site will get out of the Google sandbox about the same time as some of my others.

My domain name portfolio is now ata round 600 names and I will start selling, or trying to sell, them next month. I am so new at this that i didn't know you had to wait 60 days after buying to transfer the names. I had/have two domains sold already, therichnerd.com $90 and commuteblog.com $35. My goal is to sell one domain name a day.
