Renovating a site: from article directory to wp blog

This seems to be an ongoing process, and I don't know if renovating is the right word because what I am doing is changing a site from an article directory site to a simple word press blog.

Here's an example of another niche article site I have that hasn't been changed yet:

These sites pretty much died months ago for various reasons. Mostly because of neglect, but also some problems with the script and a lot of spamming. Plus, I used text-link-ads.com to make some money from the sites and Google has decided to frown upon the use of text link ads and especially networks like TLA.

So, I decided to make them into blogs, word press blogs, add some new content using videos and descriptions and see what happens.

Here's the first one I am changing:

Acne Info

This site isn't even indexed by Google now, so I don't know how long it will take to get re-indexed and then get ranked. We'll find out.
